Olympic Park

Yesterday we went to check out Olympic Park that is now a recreational park since the summer games were held in Seoul in 1988.  It was very funny to see all the 1980s architecture and sculptures everywhere.  I've never been an art person, but I just didn't understand the appeal of many of the sculptures that were around!   Either way, it was neat seeing an Olympic Park as I have never been to one before (Cody has been to one in the U.S.).  They had bike rentals, a little train we could ride, a playground for kids and lots of open park space.  It was nice and we got to sneak in some of the facilities.  Got a picture of the pool before I got yelled at for "no pictures," ha.  As you know by now, we are big fans of all these free outdoor parks Cody is finding!  We have to take adventure before this "rainy season" begins that all the locals keep telling us about...should be starting soon apparently.

If you haven't notice, whenever we say "say cheese" for a picture, Grant puts his hands up.  In Korea, they teach kids all these different hand motions for pictures- peace sign, hands under chin, hands up, etc. depending upon what the adult says.  Very funny.  So, he thinks we are saying "say kimchi!" and that is the hand motion he is used to doing for that:-)

As always, we hit the hotel pool before bedtime to tire these boys out!  Grant has now perfected jumping in by himself with the arm floaties on.  Gosh, if only we had a video to show you how much this kid hated the pool 3 weeks ago!

Grant wanted spaghetti for breakfast this morning (with shades)....why not?
