Grant's 1st Christmas

Our family had a great holiday and I would say that Grant had a wonderful first Christmas.  Since Cody and I wanted to have our first Christmas at home this year we were fortunate to have the Grandparents come to us.  Nana and Pappy stayed for several days and the boys had a ton of fun building gingerbread houses and baking Christmas cookies with them.  Grammy and Grandpa were able to come Christmas Day afternoon and joined us for an outing in the city the next morning to the Botanical Gardens.  The boys were definitely spoiled with lots of love and presents!

Time to get all fancy and go to Christmas Eve Mass:-)

I know I'm biased, but aren't these the two most handsome boys ever?!

Christmas Morning!  Time to open presents!

New bikes from Mommy and Daddy!  Well, Auden got a new one and Grant got Auden's old bike with the training wheels put back on- so it was awesome and new to him!

Grammy and Grandpa arrived for Christmas dinner.  And of course, more presents!

The next morning we all went into the city to see the train exhibit at the Botanical Gardens.  The line was ridiculously long to get in but it was a beautiful morning in the city so it actually felt good to be outside.

The night of the 26th we celebrated Boxing Day with our neighbors.  The kids had a blast.  We feel so fortunate that even when we don't travel for holidays the boys have their neighbors to celebrate with- they are definitely our second family.

Grant and John will be best friends one day but right now you gotta keep an eye on these two toddlers when they're together:-)

Oh, and how could I forget...Mommy and Daddy got a great present for Christmas too!  Our friends gave us their old hot tub since they were upgrading!  Cody worked hard getting the deck in order to support the tub and we are enjoying it more than we ever thought we would.  We lower the temperature for the boys and it is great family fun.  We had no idea how much the boys would love it too!
